Handmade stuff is always a good idea – if for yourself, your friends or in this case for our little ones. Handmade things are unique, they are special and made with love. The young label Minalulu creates playcrowns and dreamcatchers. Vanessa, owner of Minalulu, is mom of 2 girls (8 Months and 4,5 years). Their names build the brand name. Vanessa is full – time working as art historian and started in summer 2015 more or less spontaneous to build up her label. They idea has started at Instagram where another brand account (Lüelütt) asked for ideas how to use her fabric remnants. Vanessa answered she could create dream catchers with it and the idea was born. She started with four – six  and gave them away. The ideas grew, accounts posted photos with her creations and the demand increased.  She started to add more details such as  the little ones‘ favorite animals which should be their patron saints. Other details are teepees or batman, stars and new also pompoms. Isabelle from the blog  Mother’s Finest owns one of them (photo). As Isabelle did you can hang them next or over your bed in your bedroom or over a toys shelf in the nursery. They fit everywhere!

The crowns, as Mia wears one on the photo, exist for quite some time. At her daughter’s birthday she gave 15 (!) crowns away to the friends. It took her one week to make them. Now she also sells them at her shop at Dawanda. I like them very much and also Mia finds it  quite amusing. She is putting hers  up and down and up down and runs around very prideful.
